Our Story

The Morro Bay Speaker Meeting is an Alcoholics Anonymous fellowship located in Morro Bay, CA. Our group is a fellowship of people that share their experience, strength, and hope with each other and provides a safe space for individuals struggling with alcoholism. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. Our meeting format is a speaker meeting with both a 15 and a 45 minute speaker.  Our monthly meeting is  held on the second Saturday of each month at 7:30 pm at St. Timothy's Parish Hall 962 Piney Way, Morro Bay. We invite you to learn more about us and join our community.

AA LITERATURE

Literature published by A.A. World Services, Inc., is a resource for recovering alcoholics and
other individuals. In our materials, you can find out more about Alcoholics Anonymous, its
history, and how it works. Items are published in English, Spanish and French. AA also
publishes and licenses translations in international languages for recovering alcoholics around
the world.

AA SAFETY

The short form of Tradition One states: “Our common welfare should come first; personal
recovery depends upon A.A. unity.” Recognizing the importance of group unity, our group
strives to create a safe meeting environment in which alcoholics can focus on achieving sobriety.
